"During college I studied abroad . . . during that experience I did alot of soul searching . . . I realized, while propping and bagging banana trees that I needed to choose a career that would keep my mind very active. As I thought on life experiences I'd had thus far I realized that I enjoyed teaching, and helping people in a practical way. When I returned to the United States I looked more closely at the course catalog; fortunately I attended a college that offered home economics education. The rest is history.
