Virtual Professional Development

The AAFCS Virtual Professional Development (VPD) program offers members an opportunity to acquire professional development in FCS areas and earn PDUs (Professional Development Units). AAFCS has educational modules aligned to the cross-cutting themes of the FCS Body of Knowledge. Each educational module will include the following:

  • 30-minute recorded video presentation
  • Supplemental materials and instructional resources
  • PDU Certificate 

 

Virtual Professional Development (VPD) Details

  • VPD modules are available on-demand (24/7) for convenient access and viewing.
  • To access, visit our THINK FCS platform 
    • Members: Log in using your MyAAFCS account details. 
    • Non-Members: Each VPD module is available for purchase. 
  • Each VPD session is approved for PDUs. 
  • VPD sessions are cross-walked to the National Standards for Family and Consumer Sciences.
