Sunday

Step back in time and hear the untold stories of Louisville’s most notorious characters from the city’s early days and Prohibition era. Highlights include stops at Whiskey Row, the Belvedere, and the historic Seelbach Hotel and a signature cocktail at The Misfit Lou.

Note: This is a 2-2.5 hour walking tour. It is not suitable for anyone unable to walk on uneven pavement long distances and those under the age of 21. The tour will begin and end outside the Galt House. All attendees will meet in the Galt House Lobby and depart as a group. Attendees are advised to wear comfortable shoes.

Monday
Sept 29th		 9:00 - 11:00am $45

Join the AAFCS as we take a private trolley tour around the city, including sites such as America’s Largest Victorian Neighborhood, downtown and the waterfront, and Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. The tour will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and begins outside the Frazier History Museum.

Double your fun, add on the 'Visit to the Louisville Slugger Museum' excursion and join us for a home run into Louisville history.

Note: The trolley pick-up location is 6 blocks from the hotel (a 12 minute walk) at the Frazier History Museum, 829 W Main St, Louisville, KY 40202. AAFCS staff will meet all guests in the Galt House lobby at 8:40am to walk over together or you can plan to meet us there. You must be able to travel to the pick-up location by foot, car, or public transportation. After the trolley tour, AAFCS staff will meet attendees to escort them back to the Galt House Hotel or attendees may depart on their own at that time. Please ensure you check out with AAFCS staff if returning on your own.

Join the AAFCS for a walking tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum factory and visit to the museum. The 30-min tour highlights the manufacturing process, how custom bats are produced, and discusses the history of bat making.

Note: The Louisville Slugger Museum is 5 blocks from the hotel (an 11 minute work). You must be able to travel to the pick-up location by foot, car, or public transportation. AAFCS staff will meet all guests in the Galt House lobby to walk over together or you can plan to meet us there. After the tour, guests may walk to the hotel with the group (an 11 minute walk) or return on their own. Please ensure you check out with AAFCS staff if returning on your own.
